- A record-keeping tool for poultry breeders and exhibitors — from the breeding pen through hatching, showing, and selling. It pairs free hatching tools with a breeder app for pens, pedigrees, egg-color programs, show records, and NPIP-friendly sales records.
- What do I get for free?
- One active hatch run with full day-7/14/18 candling and lockdown reminder emails, a flock roster, an egg log, and 4-H record export — plus the hatch date and hatch rate calculators, which need no account.
- When do I have to pay?
- When you start a second breeding pen or a second simultaneous hatch. Breeder is $6/mo or $49/yr; Show is $8/mo or $69/yr.
- How do the hatch reminders work?
- Set your species and the date you set the eggs, and Coop Companion emails you on day 7 and 14 to candle and on day 18 to lock down, calculated for that species.
- Do you sell my flock or buyer data?
- No. Your records are yours. You can export them (and, on paid plans, generate NPIP-friendly sales documents) at any time.
- Is Coop Companion a substitute for veterinary or regulatory advice?
- No. Incubation figures come from university extension sources and are given as ranges, and NPIP information links official state sources — but always confirm health and legal questions with a vet and your state's NPIP contact.
